Smart Beginnings

Smart Beginnings is an NIH-funded, multi-site randomized controlled trial evaluating the efficacy of a novel, tiered parenting intervention that combines universal primary prevention (the Video Interaction Project) with tertiary home-visiting services (Family Check-Up). The program leverages primary care settings to answer important questions about scaling, sustainability, and implementation fidelity at a population level. Principal Investigators are Pamela Morris, Daniel Shaw, and Alan Mendelsohn.
